About Me

My name is Jamie McMorris and I am a licensed Cosmetologist. I attended Cosmetology School at AVEDA Institute Los Angeles (AILA). Hairstyling has always been a passion of mine. Straight after beauty school, I worked at a salon where I was very unhappy. With a small clientele and only a few years of licensed experience, I wanted to have a space to call my own. With hard work and a leap of faith, I took a chance in pursuing my own studio at Sola Salons. JHAIRSTYLES was established in 2014. I began my journey as a small business owner and had my salon studio for 3 years. The time spent at Sola Salons opened my eyes to my ultimate passion: Bridal Hair. After putting more focus on perfecting my hairstyling and updo skills, I decided that it was time for a change. In 2016, I geared my career towards the wedding/event hair industry. Bridal Hair is my absolute passion! Enhancing a woman’s beauty by styling and achieving their hair goals for their special event brings me a very rewarding feeling. I am extremely blessed and grateful for the many opportunities to exercise my creativity, while having fun and enjoying what I do.
